'Children with Leukaemia'
The UK's leading charity dedicated to fighting Britain's biggest childhood cancer. It really brought home to us how cruel life can be when an amazingly lovely family from Whitby, who have been shopping with us since we opened in 2007 told us their young Daughter had Leukaemia.
We live in crazy World at the best of times, and Charities / Good Causes are '10 a penny', but this such a cruel thing to happen to children in this day and age. Check out the 'Children with Leukaemia' website HERE , you don't have to donate directly - ask them for a collection box (put your loose change in it / take it to work and use it as a 'swear box'), email your MP about your concerns raised on their website. Stop one moment, and look at your children, your loved ones, their lives should be filled with fun, laughter, learning, and sometimes 'getting in trouble'!!
